We are proud to take another stride towards the gamification of Stake DAO with Season 1 of our #JoinTheHerd Referral Competition. You can now earn a premium with cash rewards each month in parallel with the NFT Bonus Rewards System to access boosted APY on Stake DAO.
This month, the Top 100 from the leaderboard on 01st October 2021, will grab their share of 2,200 LP tokens from the Passive Aave USD Strategy (Polygon) as well as exclusive Stake DAO NFT! Our Stake DAO NFT’s are the key to the NFT Bonus Rewards System and will provide even more additional utility in the future.
The winner of Season 1 of #JoinTheHerd will get a rare Pythia (offering x3 strategy boost) while the 2nd to 5th place herd referrers will get a common Pythia (offering x1 strategy boost).

How do I get started and participate?
Step 1.
Click on the following link: https://stakedao.org/referrals
Login to Stake DAO using your email, ledger, metamask or walletconnect.
Step 2.
Make sure you are logged into your Twitter account on your device already.
Make sure you didn’t protect your tweets (click on the “more” button on the bottom left-hand corner of your account → click on “privacy and safety” tab → click on “audience and tagging” tab → unclick “protect your tweets)
Click on ‘’Send Tweet’’
A Twitter page will open and create a tweet for you. We kindly ask that you don’t modify the text here as this format is necessary to be verified.
Tweet it. This will be the tweet to verify you, not your referral code! (This will come later!)
Step 3.
Once tweeted, click on the tweet to open its webpage and copy the link in the search bar of your browser.
What you have copied will look something like this: https://twitter.com/[your twitter handle]/status/[1234567891011]
Paste the URL into the box below ’Tweet URL’’ and press submit.
After a few seconds, your profile and referral link will appear!
You can now share your referral code with your friends by clicking on the button to the right of your unique webpage. It will look like this: https://stakedao.org/r/[your twitter handle]
Points are divided into two categories:
- Traffic points: every time you attract users to the app via click through your link, you get 1 point!
- Referral points: every time users click on your link AND create a referral code for themselves by following the steps above, you get 10 points!

For this first competition, the competition will end on the 1st October at 12:00 PM UTC
Going forward, every month on the 1st of the month at 12:00 PM UTC, the leaderboard will be frozen and decide the positions of every participant. The leaderboard will then be reset to 0 and another competition will begin!
